All of your favorite cartoon characters are sick and going to die. My Melody was a character from the Hello Kitty series. She used to spend her days picking flowers and frolicking in wide open meadows. One fine Summer day, My Melody was overtaken by the Ebola Virus--oh no! Her insides became her outsides, as she melted away. After all, noise music is all about demented manipulations of culture and intense sounds. 8====D (SF art collective, 5lowershop) had the idea to put a wide range of chaotic sounds together into one sweeping smorgasbord of diseases and disfunction interpretations. He spread the word and soon 33 artists came together in musical tribute of their malady. All songs woven into a 74 minute compilation ranging from plunderphonics to drones to extreme noisescapes.
